Equipment: Pre-cut Parchment Paper Sheets & Stainless Steel Sheet Pan

Ingredients

1 bunch of Chatenay or heritage carrots

1 bunch of sprouting broccoli

2 tbsp sesame oil

2 tbsp maple syrup

1 heaped tbsp of sweet white miso paste

A sprinkling of sesame seeds

Ground black pepper

Preparation

Preheat your oven or BBQ to 400ºF and line a baking tray with your Kana Goods parchment paper.

Scrub and trim your carrots and broccoli (if you wash the carrots very well you shouldn’t need to peel them). In a small bowl whisk together the sesame oil, miso and maple syrup.

In a large bowl, toss the veggies with the marinade and transfer on to your parchment-lined baking tray. Sprinkle with a few sesame seeds and a good grind of back pepper.

Roast in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until the broccoli starts to crisp up and the carrots are tender and caramelized.
