wonderful even after a year!

I bought this as a birthday present for myself. I always wait before I write a review. I honestly couldn't be any happier with it. My fiancé and I have pretty much used the dutch oven for every meal. I've just purchased the 5 piece set. The new oven will be a gift for her parents this Christmas. They are quality well above their price range.

Addendum - method to get white dutch oven pure white again without abrasive

I have enjoyed using the Milo occasionally, and my girlfriend uses hers often. We both have the white dutch oven. Hers has become off-white, especially after making beet soup. It had definitely turned red. So I set out to see if OxyClean would work, and I can happily say yes it does. I tried on mine with success, and after it worked like a charm on an oft-used one, I though I'd write a review here to help anyone that is looking for a solution. Take one scoop of OxyClean and put in the dutch oven when it is not hot. Add about 6 cups of boiling water. Stir until OxyClean is dissolved, which takes a couple of minutes. By this time, the bottom of the pot is spotless. You can heat on the stove, but it will bubble up, so don't put on high, and attend at all times. To clean the sides, keep adding boiling water until it's all the way to the top. Turn off the heat so it's not boiling, and let sit for 5 or 10 minutes. I did light motion with a plastic cleaning brush at the end once I poured water out to avoid spillage. Rinse A LOT. Oxyclean will make the pot slippery, and you need to keep rinsing until the pot is squeaky clean, inside and out. The pot will be glistening white. Hope this helps.
